Forming The Disciplined Characters for Grade 2A Students of SDN Bareng III Through Online Learning Models

Abstract

Condition of the world that is currently uncertain due to the pandemic means engulfing both the world community in general and Indonesian people in particular. This is also very influential on the teaching and learning process in Indonesia. The thing that is considered more important during online learning is the formation of a disciplined character that must be instilled students under any conditions. In order for learning activities to continue, learning is carried out using online learning models in an effort to form a disciplined character in students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to describe (1) the online learning process, (2) learning method. (3) role of parents, (4) advantages and disadvantages, in forming the disciplined character of grade 2 A students at SDN Bareng III. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method which implies that the research is carried out in natural conditions. Based on the findings, it can be described as follows: (1) The teaching and learning process is using an online learning model. (2) The learning method used assignment and some materials as well as the cultivation of disciplined characters are carried out by using learning media in the form of videos and pictures. (3) The role of parents is considered very important. (4) The advantage that students understand rules that exist in house, while the disadvantage is that students cannot divide time between learning and playing.
