APLIKASI PEMETAAN PONDOK PESANTREN BERBASIS WEB DI KABUPATEN JOMBANG

Abstract

Jombang Regency is known as city of “santri†because there are many “pondok pesantren†which are
famous in Indonesia domiciled in this city. At least there are seven large “pondok pesantren†located in
the Jombang area. Apart from the strategic geographical location in the city of “santriâ€, great figures were
born, one of which was the forerunner of the resistance of the community and the “santri†towards the
invaders who were commanded by Hadratussyaikh KH.M Hasyim Asy'ari, the founder of Nahdlotul Ulama

order to help parents who want to know the geographical location and the teaching system in “pondok
pesantren†in Jombang, the application of mapping “pondok pesantren†is needed which can help parents
know what kind of boarding school information is in Jombang Regency with 3 groups, namely there are
Pondok Pesantren Salaf, Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz, and Pondok Pesantren Modern and know the
geographical location of “pesantren†with website-based mapping visualization.
