Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication

JIPSARA: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan, Sains, dan Humaniora is designed and devoted to lectures, researchers, mathematics school teachers, teacher educators, university students (S1, S2, and S3) who want to publish their research reports or their literature review articles about education, sains, and humanities.

JIPSARA: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan, Sains, dan Humaniora is a peer-reviewed journal publishing articles to develop a coherent and respected network of education, sains, and humanities. It is important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behaviour for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, the publisher and the society.

Faculty of Science Education, Hasyim Asy’ari University, Tebuireng, Jombang, East Java, Indonesia as publisher of JIPSARA: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan, Sains, dan Humaniora takes its duties of guardianship all stages of publishing process and we recognize our ethical and other responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions. In addition, Faculty of Science Educaation, Hasyim Asy’ari University and Editorial Board will assist in communications with other journals and/or publishers where this is useful and necessary.

Publication and authorship 

  1. All submitted manuscripts are subject to strict peer-review process by at least two reviewers that are experts in the area of the particular manuscript.
  2. Review process are blind peer review.
  3. The factors that are taken into account in review are relevance, soundness, significance, originality, readability and language.
  4. The possible decisions include acceptance, acceptance with revisions, or rejection.
  5. If authors are encouraged to revise and resubmit a submission, there is no guarantee that the revised submission will be accepted.
  6. Rejected articles will not be re-reviewed.
  7. The manuscript acceptance is constrained by such legal requirements as shall then be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism.
  8. No research can be included in more than one publication.
