Abstract

Abstract

A good learning process requires the role of professional educators. The main factor is educators as educational reformers. Renewal of the quality of education makes special and serious attention in its efforts to improve the professionalism and performance of educators based on their work ethic. These quality students are produced from the performance of educators who have competence, high work ethic, and are professional, so that an effective and efficient educational process will run well. The competence of an educator will be a role model for his students, matters relating to professionalism in realizing his abilities require a comprehensive effort. This study used qualitative research methods. Qualitative methods are used to obtain meaningful data. Data collection techniques are the most strategic step in research, because the main goal in research is to obtain data. The principal is an educational leader at the micro level, who carries out management functions, including planning, organizing, directing and controlling. So it can be concluded that the purpose of the principal's leadership is to influence the interpretation of the events of his followers, organization and activities to achieve organizational goals and carry out main tasks, functions and responsibilities.
