Manajemen Ekstrakurikuler sebagai Upaya untuk Membentuk Karakter Peserta Didik

Abstract

Management of Extracurricular is an activity to manage extracurricular program at school. An extracurricular activity is an activities that students do outside of class lesson that have a purpose to develop students potential and to form students character. Students must be educated to have good character, one of them through extracurricular activities. Therefore, extracurricular activities must be have same purpose with character educational purpose for students. Therefore this research have a purpose to know extracurricular management as an effort to form the character of students at MI Islamiyah Sumur Cluwak Pati. The method used to collect data in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. From the results of this research concluded that management of extracurricular at MI Islamiyah Sumur Cluwak Pati was start from planning, organizing, implementating, and supervising. From extracurricular activities that implemented at MI Islamiyah Sumur Cluwak Pati, hopefully can discipline students, patience, spirit, sportsmanship, manner, and mutual respect.
