Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement
The ethical statement for the Journal of Islamic Ecomonics Studies is based on the Publication Committee Code of Ethics (COPE) guidelines available in www.publicationethics.org.
Responsibilities of the Editor:
- Submitted manuscripts are evaluated for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or the author's political philosophy.
- Editors should not disclose information about manuscripts submitted to anyone other than appropriate authors, reviewers, prospective reviewers, and publishers, as appropriate.
- Unpublished material disclosed in the submitted manuscript may not be used in the Editor's research without the explicit written consent of the author.
- The editor-in-chief of the journal in charge is responsible for deciding which articles submitted should be published. The Editor-in-Chief may be guided by the journal's Editorial Board policy and is limited by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The Editor-in-Chief may consult with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.
Reviewer Responsibilities:
- Peer review assists the Editor in making editorial decisions and, through editorial communication with the author, can also help the author improve the manuscript.
- Any invited referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in the manuscript or becomes aware that a timely review is not possible should immediately notify the Editor so that an alternative reviewer can be contacted.
- Any manuscript accepted for review must be treated as a confidential document. They may not be shown or discussed with others unless authorized by the Editor.
- The review must be carried out objectively. Personal criticism of the author is unacceptable. Referees must express their views clearly with appropriate supporting arguments.
- Reviewers must identify relevant published works that have not been cited by the author. Any statement that observations, derivations, or arguments have been previously reported must be accompanied by relevant citations. A reviewer should also call the Editor's attention to any substantial similarities or overlaps between the manuscript under consideration and other published data that they are personally aware of.
- Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. Reviewers should not consider evaluating manuscripts with conflicts of interest resulting from competition, collaboration, or other relationships or connections with any author, company, or institution associated with the submission.
Responsibilities of the author:
- Authors who report the results of original research should present an accurate account of the work done as well as an objective discussion of its significance. The underlying data must be accurately represented in the script. A paper should contain enough detail and references to allow others to replicate the work. Statements that are fraudulent or deliberately inaccurate are unethical and unacceptable behavior.
- Authors should ensure that they have written a completely original work, and if they have used the work and/or words of others, this has been appropriately cited or cited.
- An author must not publish a manuscript describing the same research in more than one journal, or the primary parallel submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal is unacceptable publishing behavior.
- Proper recognition of the work of others should always be given. Authors should also cite publications that have affected the nature of the reported work.
- Authorship should be limited to those who have contributed significantly to the conception, design, implementation, or interpretation of the reported study. All people who have made significant contributions must be listed as co-authors. If others have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be mentioned in the Recognition section.
- The appropriate authors must ensure that all appropriate co-authors (in accordance with the above definition) and that no inappropriate co-authors are included in the list of manuscript authors and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have approved its submission.
- All authors must disclose in their manuscript any other financial or substantive conflicts of interest that may be interpreted to influence their outcome or interpretation of the manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project must be disclosed.
- When an author discovers significant errors or inaccuracies in his or her own published work, it is the author's obligation ™to immediately notify the editor or publisher of the journal ™and cooperate with them to retract the paper or publish the corresponding error.
Publisher Responsibilities:
- In case of alleged or proven scientific violations, false publications, or plagiarism, the publisher, in close cooperation with the Editor, will take all appropriate measures to clarify the situation and change the article in question. This includes the immediate publication of the erratum or, in the most severe cases, the complete removal of the affected work.
- The Publisher and the Journal do not discriminate on the basis of age, color, religion, creed, disability, marital status, veteran status, national origin, race, sex, genetic orientation or carrier status, or sexual orientation in its publishing programs, services, and activities.
