IMPLEMENTASI MIND MAPPING BERBANTUAN AUDIO VISUAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MAHASISWA CALON GURU

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa calon guru dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan hasil : (a) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran baik (b) Frekuensi aktivitas mahasiswa yang menonjol adalah dalam mendengarkan dan memperhatikan penjelasan dosen sebesar 85% (c) respon mahasiswa positif yaitu respon mahasiswa pada komponen kegiatan pembelajaran 95% menyatakan sangat tertarik, menyatakan sangat mudah 88% dan yang menyatakan setuju dengan penerapan mind mapping berbantuan media audio visual sebanyak 95% (d) hasil belajar mahasiswa meningkat dengan N-Gain (Hake, 1999): 0,70 kriteria sedang. Hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa implementasi mind mapping berbantuan audio visual pada pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa calon guru. Implikasi peneitian ini, bahwa dengan mind mapping bebantan audo visual dapat mendukung tercapainya pembelajaran yang efektif dan mempermudah mahasiswa dalam memahami materi pelajaran IPA. Disarankan kepada guru untuk menggunakan mind mapping berbantuan audio visul sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam pembelajaran IPA. This research is pre experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design Data is analyzed descriptively quantitatively with result: (a) learning activity good (b) The frequency of student activity that stands out is listening and paying attention to lecturer's explanation equal to 85% (c) student response positive, that is student response on learning activity component 95% stated very interested, stated very easy 88% and that agreed with applying mind mapping with audio visual media as much as 95%. (d) student learning outcomes increased withN-Gain(Hake,1999): 0.70 moderate criteria. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of mind mapping with audio visual media in science learning can improve student learning outcomes of prospective teachers.
