Abstract

Abstrak Model pendidikan karakter di Pondok Pesantren Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan nonformal, pendidikan formal, dan kehidupan seharai-hari dengan  model pemberian contoh oleh para pengasuh, kiai, dan ustad dan pembudayaan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari, baik dalam pendidikan nonformal maupun pendidikan formal. Ruang lingkup pendidikan karakter mencakup jujur, disiplin, iklas, kerja keras, hormat dan taat kepada para pengasuh, kiai, dan ustad, salaman dan cium tangan kepada pengasuh, kiai, dan uastad atau guru, kesederhanaan, kebersihan, semangat mencari ilmu, semangat mengaji dan menghafal Alquran, mengaji kitab kuning, salat malam, salat berjamaah, dan menjaga identitas budaya santri. Hambatan pendidikan karakter di pondok pesantrean diJawa Timur adalah jumlah santri yang banyak, perbedaan latar belakang bangsa, suku bangsa, status sosial, karakter,dan budaya, perkembangan teknologi informasi, perubahan masyarakat atau lingkungan sosial, dana terbatas, sumberdaya manusia terbatas, dan padatnya kegiatan santri. Keberhasilan pendidikan karakter di pondok pesantren di Jawa Timur yang paling menonjol adalah pendidikan akhlak, kejujuran, disiplin, iklas, tasamuh, kerja keras,  semangat mencari ilmu, salat malam, salat berjamaah, mengaji Alquran, mengaji kitab kuning, mandiri, hormat dan taat kepada para pengasuh, kiai, dan ustad, salaman dan cium tangan kepada pengasuh, kiai, dan uastad atau guru, kesederhanaan, dan menjaga edentitas santri. Kata kunci: Pendidikan karakter, pondok pesantren, dan Urwatul Wutsqo.
Abstract Character education models at the Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School in Jombang are integrated into the curriculum of non-formal education, formal education, and day-to-day life by modeling examples by caregivers, kiai, and clerics and civilizations in daily activities, both in non-formal education and education. formal. The scope of character education includes honesty, discipline, iklas, hard work, respect and obedience to the caregivers, kiai, and cleric, shook hands and kissed the hands of the caregiver, kiai, and uastad or teachers, simplicity, cleanliness, the spirit of seeking knowledge, the spirit of the Koran and memorize the Koran, recite the yellow book, evening prayers, pray together, and maintain the identity of the santri culture. Obstacles to character education in pesantrean huts in East Java are the large number of students, differences in national background, ethnicity, social status, character, and culture, development of information technology, changes in society or social environment, limited funds, limited human resources, and crowded activities santri. The most prominent character education in Islamic boarding schools in East Java are moral education, honesty, discipline, sincerity, tasamuh, hard work, enthusiasm for knowledge, evening prayers, congregational prayers, Koran recitation, yellow scripture, independent, respectful and obedient to caregivers, kiai, and clerics, shakehands and kiss hands to caregivers, kiai, and uastad or teachers, simplicity, and maintain the santri's identity.
