PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TGT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstrak
TGT adalah salah satu model pembelajaran yang menitikberatkan pada keaktifan siswa,
kreativitas siswa, kerjasama antar kelompok dan komunikasi antara siswa. Peneliitian ini
menggunakan PTK, pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian yang dilakukan
melalui tiga siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi.
Dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN lidah Wetan 4 Surabaya yang berjumlah 34
siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes hasil belajar dan
wawancara antara siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru selama
pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan selama tiga siklus dengan persentase ketuntasan 71,15%
pada siklus I; 77,88% pada siklus II; dan 80,28% pada siklus ke III. Aktivitas siswa mengalami
peningkatan selama tiga siklus dengan persentase ketuntasan 74,03% pada siklus I; 76,44% pada
siklus II; dan 81,73% pada siklus III. Tes hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan selama tiga siklus
dengan rata-rata ketuntasan 46,91 pada studi awal, 52,57 pada siklus I; 70,14 pada siklus II; dan
84,82 pada siklus III. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Pembelajaran tipe TGT
dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V di SDN Lidah Wetan 4 Surabaya.

Abstract
TGT is one of the learning model that focuses on student activeness, student creativity, intergroup
cooperation and communication between students. This research uses PTK, quantitative
and qualitative descriptive approach. Research conducted through three cycles and each cycle
consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In this research is the students
of grade V SDN tongue Wetan 4 Surabaya which amounted to 34 students. Techniques of data
collection using observation methods, test results and interviews between students. The results
showed that teacher activity during learning has increased during three cycles with the
percentage of completeness 71.15% in cycle I; 77,88% in cycle II; and 80.28% in the third cycle.
Student activity has increased during three cycles with the percentage completeness 74.03% in
cycle I; 76,44% in cycle II; and 81,73% in cycle III. The test of learning outcomes increased
during three cycles with an average completeness of 46.91 in the initial study, 52.57 in cycle I;
70,14 in cycle II; and 84.82 in cycle III. Thus it can be concluded that the model of learning
TGT type can improve the learning outcomes of IPS students of class V in SDN Lidah Wetan 4
Surabaya.
