KEHIDUPAN SOSIAL MASYARAKAT SAMIN SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR IPS PADA MATERI INTERAKSI SOSIAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN SIKAP SOSIAL SISWA DI SMP

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sumber belajar dari interaksi sosial kehidupan
masyarakat Samin sesuai dengan materi IPS kelas VIII. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan
pada uji coba 1 dan uji coba II adalah implementasi dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.
Berdasarkan data dan diskusi hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang
dikembangkan berdasarkan sumber belajar IPS sudah memiliki kualitas baik dan layak untuk
digunakan. Penerapan perangkat pembelajaran efektif meningkatkan sikap sosial peserta didik
berdasarkan hasil pengamatan awal dan akhir. Aktivitas siswa selama kegiatan belajar mengajar
dan selama kegiatan belajar menunjukkan bahwa siswa belajar aktif. Respon siswa terhadap
buku ajar hasil pengembangan dapat direspon dengan baik dan positif. Demikian juga dengan
hasil belajar siswa yang menunjukkan ketuntasan sebesar 90% pada uji coba. Berdasarkan hasil
pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang bersumber kehidupan masyarakat Samin, hasil uji
coba menunjukkan bahwa kualitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah baik dan
telah memenuhi kelayakan sebagai perangkat pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII
SMP materi Interaksi sosial budaya dalam masyarakat. Sedangkan penerapan perangkat
pembelajaran yang sudah dikembangkan menggunakan model problem based learning dapat
dikatakan efektif menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar serta dalam meningkatkan sikap sosial
peserta didik.

Abstract
This study aims to develop learning resources from the social interaction of Samin community
life in accordance with IPS class VIII materials. The research design used in trial 1 and II is
implementation with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Based on the data and discussion, it
noted that learning tools developed based on IPS learning resources already have good quality
and feasible to use. The application of effective learning tools improves the social attitudes of
learners based on initial and final observations. Students' activities during the teaching and
learning and also during studying indicates that students are learning actively. Student responses
to development textbooks can be responded well and positively. Likewise with student learning
outcomes reaches 90%. Based on the results of development of learning tools that are sourced
from the community of Samin, the results of the experiments show that the quality of learning
tools developed is good and has fulfilled the feasibility as a learning tool on social studies
subjects class VIII SMP social interaction in society. While the application of learning tools that
have been developed using the problem-based learning model can be said to effectively support
teaching and learning activities and in improving social attitudes of learners.
