PENINGKATAN KESADARAN METAKOGNITIF DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMA MELALUI PENERAPAN DIAGRAM ROUNDHOUSE DIPADU MODELPEMBELAJARAN CIRC
Abstract
Peningkatan kesadaran metakognitif dan hasil belajar siswa dapat dilakukandengan menerapkan Diagram Roundhousedipadu model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Kepanjen Malang semester genap tahun pelajaran 2009/2010. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar inventori kesadaran metakognitif, lembar penilaian hasil belajar kognitif, lembar keterlaksanaan sintaks pembelajaran, dan lembar catatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif kuantitatif dengan membandingkan rata-rata skor kesadaran metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada siklus I dan II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata skor kesadaran metakognitif siswa dari siklus I sebesar 51,63 menjadi 60,00 pada siklus II dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 70,29 menjadi 73,38 pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Diagram Roundhousedipadu model pembelajaran CIRC dapat meningkatkan kesadaran metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.
