KONFLIK BATIN TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL HARGA SEBUAH PERCAYA KARYA TERE LIYE (PENDEKATAN PSIKOLOGI SASTRA)

Abstract

Inner conflict is a conflict that accurs to someon. The writers do not directly describe a
conflict with the aim that the story becomes long, and as a builder element the path of a
story. In a literary work a character who experiences a lot of inner conflict is the main
chacarter because the main character plays a lot in literary work. The inner conflict
consists of bobbing conflicts, shaky conflicts, jolting conflicts. One of the literary works in which there wa an inner conflict wa the work of Tere Liye under the title A plice of Belief.
In this study there are three formulations of the problem are 1) inner conflict experienced
by the main character, 2) the factors causing the main conflict of the main character, and
3) the response made by the main chacarter when experiencing conflict in the novel Harga
Sebuah Percaya by Tere Liye. as for the pupose of this study is to describe the inner conflict,
analyze the factors that cause inner conflict, and respond to the main character in the face
of conflict. The research theory used in this study is the psychology of literature developed
by Sigmund Freud. Literary psychology theory that views literature studies that regard
work as a psychological activity. Data collection techniques in this study used desktiptif
analysis techniques. The steps taken in this study start from reading the whole contents of
the novel, coding, calarifying the data obtained, and finally making conclusions
