Abstract

This study aims to determine the Banjarsari Village Consultative Body
Accountability in carrying out its duties and functions as a representative of the
village community, does its arrogance refuse to provide APBDes documents
justified by the Act, This research is also to determine the extent of the role of village
heads in carrying out their functions as public servants, are able to be transparent
and open in village financial management. With the refusal of the BPD towards the
request of the researchers asking for the APBDes and Perdes documents in 2019
that they wished to become the object of research, the researchers were
increasingly curious about the closed attitude of the village head and the Banjarsari
BPD. What really happened behind the closed attitude of the two retainers of the
village? Has there been an abuse of authority? Or indeed they have corrupted the
village funds? More serious research is needed to prove the truth.The researcher
focused more on legal recognition of letters issued by the BPD which contained the
refusal to provide APBDes documents
