PERAN PERHATIAN ORANG TUA DAN PERSEPSI PADA IKLIM SEKOLAH TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR (Survei Pada Peserta Didik Sekolah Menengah di Jakarta Selatan)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain an answer empirically the effect
(1) the attention of parents and the perception of school climate for learning
motivation of learners simultaneously, (2) the attention of parents of learners'
learning motivation partially, (3) perception on climate schools to motivate
learners partially. This research was conducted at the Vocational High School and
High School South Jakarta with 160 respondents learners. The method used was a
survey with multiple linear regression analysis approach. Based on the research
and calculations SPSS obtained the following results: (1) There is the influence of
parents attention and perception of school climate on the motivation of learners
simultaneously. (2) There is the influence of parents' attention to the motivation of
learners partially (this indicates that the higher and better that the attention witch
given from parents to the students proven to increase the motivation of learners).
(3) There is a perception influence on school climate for learning motivation
partially (this indicates that the better, safe, comfortable and conducive climate
created in the school, it will increase the motivation of learners). Expertise of
teachers and parents in motivating and creating a favorable climate for students
and their children is a skill that must exist in themselves to improve the performance
of learners, because motivation accompanied by a favorable climate is a weapon
that will make learners have spirit struggle to achieve their goals. The slightest
attention given to parents (advice, guidance, and the provision of learning facilities) will increase the motivation of learners. With the attention and created a
conducive environment at home and at school is able to increase the motivation of
learners that will ultimately lead to building learners' learning achievement.
