Abstract

This article examines matters related to learning
Arabic literature. Literature (al-Adab) is the delivery of
something with a deep feeling processing laden and artistic
value of the picture will be given and expressed in particular
with the rules of a particular way. Periodic of literature
began in the period of ignorance, Islamic period which
includes Daulah Umayyah, Abbasiyah period continued, the
Ottoman Empire, and finally the modern period. While the
purpose of teaching literature in between to increase
students' knowledge and understanding of literature to life
more purposeful and be good; also helps students
understand the social inequalities in life and also to play a
role to solve it. Learning methods such literature is threefold:
historical method, the method of literary art, and the method
of thematic literature. While the technique of delivering
differentiated materials at a basic level, intermediate, and
advanced. Furthermore, the ability to feel the beauty of
Arabic literature is not obtained by simply mastering the
rules of the Arabic language, but with a lot of reading good
literature and tried to explore the beauty-beauty
