Abstract

Education is a learning process that aims to develop a person's knowledge, skills and attitudes. Active learning involving discussions can have a positive influence or impact on students. One of them is by implementing a learning model that supports a system of collaboration and cooperation between students, namely by implementing the PjBL learning model, to be able to analyze student learning outcomes before and after learning activities are carried out. Learning activities are supported by a drying machine as a supporting medium for learning the Thermodynamics course. The method used was quasi-experimental, with a total of 15 students. The research results obtained are that there are differences in student learning outcomes between before and after the PjBL learning model is applied, and it can be concluded that the application of drying machines as a learning medium through PjBL learning is very effectively applied in the Thermodynamics course based on the psychomotor values ​​produced by Mechanical Engineering students.
