Abstract

The Culture in educational institutions is a habit that needs to be maintained and improved so that it can create a good image or characteristics that are favored by school institutions. Likewise, improving religious culture, it is necessary to pay attention to the principal of how to be able to encourage its members to carry out their duties and responsibilities together. Based on this, the purpose of this study was to determine the leadership behavior of school principals in improving religious culture at SMK Sultan Agung 1 Tebuireng Jombang. The objectives of this study include: To determine the leadership behavior of school principals, to determine religious culture, to determine the leadership behavior of school principals in improving religious culture, and to determine supporting and inhibiting factors in improving religious culture at SMK Sultan Agung 1 Tebuireng Jombang. This can be proven by the efforts of school principals and teachers to instill religious values ​​in students to become useful graduates in the community. From this research, it is also proposed that the parties involved are able to participate optimally in the sustainability of the program.
