PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA FLASH PADA MATERI BENTUKBENTUK HUBUNGAN SOSIAL

Abstrak
Penelitian pengembangan mempunyai peranan yang penting bagi kemajuan keilmuan, tidak
terkecuali di dunia pendidikan. Berdasarkan hal ini, penelitian betujuan untuk menghasilkan
multimedia flash yang valid, serta terlaksana dengan baik pada pembelajaran materi bentukbentuk
hubungan sosial kelas VIII sehingga dapat mendukung pembelajaran. Penelitian ini
menggunakan rancangan pengembangan 3D yang diambil dari model 4D Thiagarajan, Semmel,
& Semmel (1974: 5), yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, dan pengembangan. Model 3D dipilih
karena tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan media, tidak sampai dalam taraf penyebaran media.
Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: (1) skor prosentase total kelayakan media
flash dari (a) uji validasi ahli pembelajaran IPS = 82,5% dan ahli media pembelajaran = 79,7%,
(b) uji lapangan terbatas = 88,6 %, dan (c) uji lapangan = 85,6 %. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat
disimpulkan bahwa multimedia flash layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran IPS khususnya materi
bentuk-bentuk hubungan sosial. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil uji validitas, hasil uji lapangan terbatas,
dan hasil uji lapangan.

Abstract
Research and development has an important role in the science advancement, including in
education. Based on that, this research aims to produce a valid and well performed multimedia
flash on social relations topic for 8th grade students in order to support learning. This study used
the 3D development design taken from the 4D model Thiagarajan, Semmel, & Semmel (1974: 5),
that is the definition, design and development. The 3D model was selected because the purpose of
this research was to develop media, not to spread it. Research data had obtained as follows: (1)
total score percentage of flash media eligibility (a) validation test from social studies expert =
82.5% and learning media expert = 79.7%, (b) limited field test = 88, 6%, and (c) field test =
85.6%. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that flash multimedia suitable for use in social
studies, especially social relations topic. This was proven from the results of validity test, limited
field test, and field test.
