Abstract

This paper describes the development of language in the perspective of government policy
in terms of ecology or the environment, when language is collaborated with government
policies and has links with the environment. It will be a complete mix to make new
habituation in the educational environment. The purpose of this paper is to offer an
alternative idea of the development of language in an environmental perspective and
framed in a government policy. so that the environment continues to be preserved in
relation to the concept of adiwiyata, and is supported by innovation and creativity in
language concepts. This will manifest a new level in environment and language through
ecolinguistics in Jombang Regency. This research uses descriptive analysis and content
analysis methods, this paper shows that ecolinguistics has developed in Jombang Regency,
especially in SDN 2 Kesamben Jombang which has offered the latest concepts through
literacy sanitation.
