Abstract

Abstract
The principal is a leader who is in a school environment that has duties, authority and
responsibility in managing and guiding. In addition, the principal has a position in the
process of developing the teacher's most effective performance because the principal
understands the needs that exist in the field. Therefore, principals must have and
produce professional teachers in the teaching and learning process. The teacher will not
be professional when there is no effort in developing competencies. one of them who
was able to realize this had to be supervised by the madrasa supervisor. Supervision of
education can include guidance, direction, observation, motivation and evaluation for
the head of the madrasa and the teacher to create a relatively pleasant environment. The
purpose of this study was to obtain data on the implementation of educational

supervision carried out by madrasah supervisors in improving the performance of the
principal and the professionalism of teachers at MTs Kalitidu. Implementation of
supervision of education in order to improve the performance of principals and
professionalism of teachers is done through classroom observations, individual
meetings, group discussions.
