Abstract

Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of behavioral groups counseling to reduce
academic procrastination in vocational students. In this case the researcher views that behavior
group counseling can reduce students' academic procrastination. This type of research is
quantitative research, with the Quasi Experimental design research design. Data analysis
techniques in this study used the T test formula. The results showed that there were very
significant differences between the results of the average pre-test and posttest, in the
experimental group and the control group. The results of the pre-test analysis were 60.68, and
the post-test value was 53 with a difference of 7.68 in the control group and in the experimental
group the average pre-test score was 61.75, and the post-test value was 52.5 with a difference of
9.25. This shows that the results of the post-test average are lower than the pre-test average. It
can be concluded that the effectiveness of group behavior counseling can reduce academic precontrast
in
SMK.
