PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM PONDOK PESANTREN ALTERNATIF PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PENDIDIKAN IPA UNHASY

Abstract

Hasyim Asy’ari University (Unhasy) is the college that is based on Pesantren. Great goal that is carried on by this college under Pesantren Tebuireng is producing religious people who is as a scientist and a scientist who is religious. It is written in Unhasy vision, “The centre of promoting sciences which is based on Pesantren and entrepreneurship to produce insan kamil generation.” The existence of obligate institutional lectures that based on Pesantren to be accomplished in teaching and learning activities that can make it difference with other colleges. This excellent distinction is done to internalize the spirit of independence, struggle, and entrepreneurship.The finding of this research show that in developing the curriculum of Science Education Depatment of The Faculty of Education in Hasyim Asy’ari University needs: (1) to examine the vision and mission of Pesantren Tebuireng, (2) to analyze the need of Hasyim Asy’ari University, (3) to formulate the minimum content standard of Science Education Department curriculum based on KKNI, (4) to organize academic document of Science Education Department curriculum, (5) to analyze the result of expert reviewer of The Faculty of Education of Hasyim Asy’ari University, (6) to revise the equipment of curriculum, (7) to validate the academic document in standardized curriculum of Science Education Department of The Faculty of Education Unhasy that had been revised by the expertised, (8) the result of validation is analyzed based on the assessment, suggestion, and criticism from the validator, (9) finally, it is obtained the product of academic curriculum document of Science Education Department of The faculty of Education Unhasy.
